Anita Mox

Fabrication and installation of 316 stainless steel aeration grids, sieves, and internal pipework for AnitaMOX reactor at Arla AD Plant for Veolia

Bartec was contracted by Veolia to fabricate and install the internal mechanical equipment for the AnitaMOX biological treatment reactor, part of the anaerobic treatment plant extension at the Arla AD facility.

The scope of works included:

  • Fabrication of two aeration grid assemblies in 316L thin-wall stainless steel, with laser-cut perforations for consistent airflow and burr-free internals

  • Dropper pipe sets, connecting grids to the main air supply manifold with prefabricated clamp fixings

  • A complete stainless steel media retention sieve assembly, including air scour pipework and fastenings

  • All components delivered to site preassembled and installed through the tank roof aperture—no hot works or site welding required

  • On-site installation carried out under confined space procedures, using Bartec’s confined space entry team with top-man supervision

  • Installation support included scaffold towers, chemical anchors, and all stainless steel fixings for structural stability

This project demonstrates Bartec’s ability to deliver precision-fabricated internal treatment systems for advanced process reactors, using preassembled modular components to streamline on-site installation and minimise programme disruption.
